It’s that time of year again where the evenings are cooling off & the fall colors start to appear. One of the best places in Colorado to view the changing colors & fall foliage is the drive to Cripple Creek from Divide. Just follow Highway 67 south through the beautiful winding mountain road to the town of Cripple Creek. This area is loaded with gorgeous Aspen Trees that change dramatically. Fall color changes usually peak between September 15 and October 10. This drive is one of the most colorful & beautiful routes along the Front Range to enjoy. But colors seem to be changing earlier this year, and if you want to see them you should take that drive before the middle of October.
