It's that time of year again for The Cheyenne Mountain Zoo's Electric Safari.  The safari is a favorite holiday tradition with approximately a million illuminated lights for guests to enjoy. Electric Safari is the largest holiday light show in the Pikes Peak region, attracting upwards of 30,000 visitors yearly.

Beginning December 17th, 2010 thru January 2, 2011 (except 12-24-2010) The zoo will offer more than 40 animated light scupltures. Each night from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. you will encounter warming bon fires throughout the Zoo and you will have the an opportunity to visit select indoor animal exhibits.

Come see The Santa Zone which will feature tons of lights, live reindeer, christmas music, fire pits and areas to get warm. Hot chocolate and other treats will be available for purchase.

Tickets are $8.25 for adults & $5.25 for kids ages 3 to 11. Children 2 and under are free.

The Cheyenne Mountain Zoo is located at 4250 Cheyenne Mountain Zoo Road.
