Does professional photography really make a difference in selling your home?

I wanted to share with you today about why professional photography is important in selling your home.  Here at Jason Daniels & Associates, we hire a professional photographer for every listing.  Whether it is a condo or a castle, we want to make sure your home is presented in the best manner.  Our professional photographer uses top equipment to ensure excellent photos of the entire home.  Statistics show that if you do not have photos of the whole house, buyers will skip over it.  There are some agents out there that list homes with only 1 or 2 photos.  A large number of buyers, 92% actually, start their search online.  If your home doesn’t have plenty of professional pictures and/or virtual tours, buyers will skip over it and focus on homes they can actually get a feel for online.

It is critical to us that we have this service for clients that sell with us.  We make sure your photos will be taken with top of the line equipment to include HDR pictures of the exterior and interior of the home.  Our photographer will also stitch the pictures together into a virtual tour that is esthetically appealing to make your home stand out.  We also use the maximum number of pictures that the MLS and the other websites, such as Zillow and Trulia will allow which will help your home rank above others.

When we talk to people who haven’t sold a home, it is typically that their agent only used one or two pictures in their marketing or even takes pictures using a cell phone.  Most people’s largest investment is their home so that should be considered when hiring a real estate agent.  Make sure the agent you choose is working with a professional photographer and they are not doing it on their own.  It will make a difference.  Our homes sell for 2% more than the average in this marketplace and I know that the professional photography we use is a huge key in making that happen for us.

If you have any questions, please give us a call.  We would love to help in any way that we can!
